Short answer. With Logistics via bol (LVB) you pay a rate per ordered item for picking, packing, shipping, customer service and returns, plus storage per item per month. The rate depends on the size class (3XS to L) and is lower when the selling price is under €16. VAT, commission and surcharges come on top.

When a customer orders two or more items in one order, bol charges shipping once. 3XS and XXS items cannot go to Belgium as letterbox parcels and are charged as XS there. XL and larger have a separate rate.
Storage and surcharges
- Storage is counted per day, based on the monthly rate in the table.
- Peak season. In November and December storage costs 40% more.
- Long in stock. Stock older than 180 days costs double storage. A few fashion and luggage categories are exempt.
- Special product category: €0.40 surcharge per handling.
- Taking stock back or having it destroyed: €0.45 per item, plus shipping.
Worked example
You sell an item in size class S for €24.95. The LVB rate is €2.23 per item plus €3.80 per shipment: €6.03 per ordered item. Sell the same item for €14.95 and shipping is €3.05, for a total of €5.28. If it stays in stock for two months on average, add 2 × €0.48 storage, and 40% more in November and December.

LVB or your own shipping
LVB strengthens your delivery promise, and delivery is one of the buy box factors. Whether it pays off depends on what shipping costs you now, how fast the item sells and how big it is. Put both side by side in the calculator: once with your own shipping cost, once with the size class.
